Who we are
A name that stands for doing the work right.
The Saturn program began in 1958, when a team of engineers set out to build the most powerful rocket the world had ever seen - a booster large enough to carry astronauts beyond Earth orbit. Much of that work happened right here in Huntsville, Alabama, first at the Army's Redstone Arsenal and then at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. It produced the Saturn V, the rocket that carried Apollo 11 to the Moon in 1969. Thirty-two Saturn rockets flew, and not one failed - the result of engineering discipline, attention to detail, and a team that refused to cut corners.
That standard is where our name comes from. Gary Johnson founded Saturn 5 Roofing after watching his father help build those rockets on the Saturn V team at NASA. The lesson stuck: do the work right, hold to the standard, and stand behind what you put your name on.
Today, Saturn 5 Roofing installs, repairs, and maintains roofing systems for light industrial and commercial buildings, along with specialty repair work. Gary and his team bring the same approach his father's generation did: careful work, clear communication, and a commitment to getting it right the first time.
